1999 Sport 160k miles $6900... I texted the owner and talked for a few minutes. He didn't know what a sport is he just told me it had the scoop and silver around the shifters... It looks to have a nice front bumper on it too. He said he had it for about a year and the first owner worked at Toyota dealership. It could be a nice buy for somebody I just thought I'd pass it on. http://hickory.craigslist.org/cto/2758359705.html

Sounds like a GOOD buy!!! :iagree:

Most of the time, people buy vehicles as a MOT only and not because they are true/pure enthusiasts.

*MOT = Mode Of Transportation

In a dadgum dilemma now... Do I need another vehicle - NO... Do I want a 99 Sport with elocker - YES... Should I just quit looking in classifieds and just put that $6000+ on my house? YES... Damn it sucks being a responsible grown up... HAHA

Yeah I guess I could but my Limited has only 127k miles now and my goodness it runs and drives like a brand new vehicle. It puts my wife's 2007 Civic to shame other than mileage... Decisions, decisions....

Advice from a former Lenoir and Boone resident, buy that! Well of course, only if it makes sense for you!

Yeah codyjh I'm sure you remember how 4runners bring a premium price around here and to find something like this is odd... I'm having a problem with the wife now. She doesn't see it the way we do. I'd have to take a loan out for the Sport and unfortunately its not looking good for me

Hmm that's only an hour and change from me. Anyone want to let me borrow 6k? Don't get my bonus/tax refund til February!

Convince your wife to take the limited, sell the civic, you get a nice sport with a locker. Bingo bango.
