Found this loose bolt loose when getting tires rotated..

I was at Discount getting a tire rotation and found this bolt (Bolt is actually out in this picture) was missing the nut, and the only thing that held it from coming off was the front skid plate. Should I be able to hold the shop that did my alignment 6 months ago accountable? Going to contact the dealer today to get a new bolt\nut and will need to aligned again. The guy at discount was able to mount a lug nut to the end to at least get me on the road safetly...lol

That's pretty scary. Glad you caught it though! 6 months out is a decent amount of time but I guess you could give it a shot. If the guy mounted a lug nut...I hope it was the same thread size or you're going to need a new cam bolt.

This is why I double check all the alignment cams/bolts with my torque wrench after I have an alignment done. Even though I totally trust the shop, everyone makes mistakes so it's always good to double check things.

He torqued it on there so ordering a new bolt and nut. Called the shop and their alignment shop won't cover it since its been 6 months but no biggie. He is actually going to get me the part at cost so I will run it back through them when he gets it in. I really like the shop, its Sierra Expeditions in Mesa AZ, really good guys. I just got back from a trip in the high country and on the way home, the interstate was closed for a fatal wreck and I just happen to know about the 45 mile dirt road through bumble bee. I was railing 60 mph down this road and to be honest, the truck drove like a dream..lol. The guy at Discount told me that it must have been all over the road. I told him that honeslty, you would have never of known it was loose. Did pull to the side or anything so whatever, lesson learned.

Had an alignment done on another vehicle years ago at a local Firestone. Drove off and after a few days I kept hearing this clunking noise. I jacked up the truck and found the upper control arm bolt was completely loose. Easy fix, tightened it back up and was on my way.

The shops these days get a little carried away with the impact guns and I have yet to every see someone actually break out a torque wrench for anything but lug nuts.

Once its loose, doesn't it throw the alignment off? That is what my understanding it but correct me if I am wrong...

You're correct. It'll throw off the alignment. I could see the alignment being ok IF the other bolt was still tight but I would still want to get double checked.
