Fox 2.0 suspension question

Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere, i used google and read a few forums about them(jeeps, tacoma, f150...and prior gen t4r) but there still doesnt seem to be a big wealth of information other than jeeps having them. For anyone that have/had them, what are your thoughts about them? Looks like althought they come out box at 2inch, they can be increased in height, anyone try raising the collar with a spring compressor?

Thank you guys for responding!

Nick

I installed these two months ago and really like them. I got exactly 2” on one side and about 1.75” if lift on the other. I’m thinking about adjusting them a tad higher, but not in a big rush. Curious of others experience as well.

Just got my set and going to set them a half inch higher so I get 2.5in up front. Contacted Fox today, they said if you raise the ring 1/4in higher you will get a 1/2in additional lift.

Just be advised that the higher you go beyond what they come from the factory with, the ride gets harsher. I raised mine up about 1/2" above factory and I think its too stiff.

Will do thank you! I just came back from the on-post self shop (on military bases, spent $15! [emoji16]). I went ahead and raised the collars exactly 1/4 inch which should produce a total lift of 2.5inches. Guess ill find out soon!? I also dont know what the factory setting feels like so will be going in with no comparison...
themaestro since you raised it 1/2inches, did you get a total lift of 3inches? Thanks for your response!

Here she is! 2.5inches upfront and 2inches rear. Was going to do 1.5 rear but they sent me the 2-3inch lift rears so went with icon 2in springs. Local shop was able to compress the springs easily and I turned the collar up for the additional .5inch. Ride is awesome! Supers smooth almost like stock but it gets all the holes in the ground while staying stiff during braking and turns.
