Need any sort of permit up there for that? We have a house up in South Bethany and I'd like to check that out. Mostly sand driving for the state park?

yes you need a yearly "surf fishing permit " where you have to be "actively fishing" everyone just drives out there to go on the beach and just throw a line in the water with some bait on it. sometimes i will just go drive out there just to drive on the beach but i will have a fishing rod with my just incase a ranger stops me i can say I'm on my way to a fishing spot. you can also drive on the beach down by indian river inlet which is closer to you

just wondering about your suspension setup? how do you like it? I already have some 8 wraps and had planned on getting the toytec boss coilovers. might save myself some money and buy the tundra setup. do you have your front set on the highest setting? don't know if I want to spend the extra money on those coilovers for just the adjustability. still on the fence. what do you think of your rear shocks? I have a 4xinnovations rear bumper on would probably bring the rear down just a bit. just wondering about the ride. I only plan on running 265/75/16's. have a new set sitting in the shop with the coils. thanks, jesse

i like mine but i would probably go with the coilovers, i like the idea of adjustability.
mine are the third perch.
i think the 8 wraps will sink a lot with the rear bumper since when i stand on the back bumper it sinks a good amount. i like the ride on mine but when i eventually get around to it and get a rear bumper i think ill be changing out the 8 wraps. hope this helps a bit.

a little update:
just got my 4.88s from east coast gear supply installed with a retrofit e locker in the rear thanks to a local northeast 4runner association member for the install
