Foxwing awning/annex group buy round 4

Alright guys and gals, with so many recent members expressing interest in another GB, I'm gathering interest here. Please let me know if you want in on round 4 of the awning and annex group buy.
The price for the foxwing awning is $300 and the price for the annex is $300. I can also source a 2.5m awning and its corresponding annex if you're looking for something bigger. Price is $390 for this size and it adds about 15" to the awning length. Also available is a "square" style foxwing awning. A 2 meter size is $340 and a 2.5 meter size is $390.

forgive my ignorance, im a bit of a noob with awnings... is Foxwing the brand or style of awning? Im looking at Rhino Rack awnings and they used to make a "Foxwing" but it looks like their newer 270º product is renamed the "BatWing" ....so is this group by a Rhino Rack brand awning buy or is Foxwing a different brand entirely?

From my understanding, foxwing is just what's used to describe the style of the awning. When doing research, some call it foxwing, some call it batwing. It is NOT the rhino rack product. It is the same style though at a much lower price point. Hope this helps.

Yes sir. For the standard triangle style in 2m it'll be $300.

This is a random question, I know, but can anyone tell me the length of the side in red in this picture on the square (either 2m or 2.5m) awning? What I'm trying to do is jerry rig an ARB awning room or Tuff Stuff awning room to attach to that square area.

Itll either be just over 2m or 2.5m, hence the options available. When I ask for size, that's the measurement I'm referring to. Hope this helps.

Ah ok, gotcha. I wasn't sure if it was a proper square or not. So if that can be considered the width, the length will also either 2m or 2.5m, respectively? Seems to be that way in the picture, but I just want to be sure.

Here's a diagram the manufacturer supplied. Just a tad shorter.

Is the rear hatch on the 5th gen 4runner still functional with this awning, or does the spoiler or height of the open hatch hit the awning?

With the hatch all the way up it does push up the fabric a bit. Some don't mind it, some tie the hatch at a lower height so it doesn't interfere with the awning.
