It could. You would either have to drill into the rack or get a crossbar system that has holes for mounting. I believe there are some options for stock rack crossbars out there.

What side does the rtt open up on? Obviously, you would mount this on the opposite side. As far as any other obstructions, I wouldn't be able to predict what could happen without knowing your exact setup, unfortunately.

Just a heads up for everyone involved in this GB. I was hospitalized on sunday and am on bed rest for the week. I will be sending the order to the manufacturer once I get back into the office. I'm doing my best to get back on my feet but the medication is a dozy. Thanks for understanding!

So I'm probably a little late to get in on this group buy and as long as you're planning on doing another one, then I can wait since I don't need it till next spring. However, I do have some questions that I didn't see an answer for while searching your other group buy threads (I'm sure I just missed it). Anyways, here goes:
1) I see that the annex sections mount to the adjacent section by a zipper, but how does the annex attach to the awning itself? Is there a zipper at the top for that as well or is it only Velcro? Also, the opening/doors has a screened part and solid part correct? Are they both zipper or Velcro?
2) Does the 2.5m square foxwing have the same hinge as the others? In other words, does it look like the picture in post #23 of this thread?
3) Do you happen to have the length between the bracket screw holes where the awning mounts to the mounting bracket? Basically the distance between the gaps that run down the back of the awning. I happen to have been given two Gobi rack awning brackets from a buddy and want to make sure they will work to mount it.
3) Has anyone been been successful mounting both the awning and RTT (CVT, tenpui, etc.) to a Gobi STEALTH rack? Have a picture by chance?
4) Are all guy-line tie downs/stakes/fasteners included or do those need to be purchased separately? I see that the cover is a little baggy and some Velcro straps solve that which would have to be bought later, but curious if it's essentially ready to go out of the box.
5) How crazy is the shipping to the east coast approximately (awning plus annex)? Extra $50, $100, $200? Don't need exact, just trying to weigh the cost benefit of getting both or just the awning for the time being.

Hi John, I'll be sending the order for this GB to the manufacturer this week, so if you want in on it you still can join.
With regards to the awning to annex connection, it is attached by velcro. The doors are zippered.
The hinges are the same for both sizes.
I don't have the exact measurement, but I'm sure I can get it for you. Keep in mind, it does come with it's own bracket as well. I'm unsure about the gobi rack and if anyone has done what you're asking, but I don't see it being an issue. Guy lines, stakes are included with the awning. You can always order extras if you like. The awning is setup to use "out of box". Difference in shipping for the 2.5 vs 2m is roughly $100. So if east coast is $75 for a 2m itll be roughly $175 for the 2.5m, as it's considered an "oversized" package. Ironically, shipping them together (awning/annex) costs more than individually. I believe it's due to the package being oversized again, when shipped together.

UPDATE: Order has been confirmed, payment has been sent to manufacturer, manufacturer gave me an estimated ETA of September 16th for finalizing the manufacturing process. Shipping, customs....probably another month.
