Foxwing-style awning for $180+ship?

Svana, thanks for putting this together for us, I really appreciate it. So now that we are over 30, is it time to start collecting? My only concern is that, for your protection, you will have to have everyone pay before the order can even be made. This can turn in to a very extended purchase if we have to wait on everyone. Can you contact them to see if they can do smaller groups?

Hey L-Force,
I'm still working on some last communications with the vendor about the final details (shipping info on the nets/walls, official invoice, payment method, etc.) but here's how I was planning on moving forward. I'll give a window between now and the end of the month for everybody to paypal me the amount for their products and allow any last minute stragglers to jump in. This way hopefully the inevitable last minute drops will be filled in by the last minute stragglers. At that point I'd put in the order and pay them. Fast forward to the shipment arrival, we'd drop off all shipped awnings to UPS and set up a time/place for all of the local pickups to pick up their awnings. I don't want to "officially" take the next step yet until all those loose ends are tied up, but once they are I'll be sure to let everyone know.
 
I think I'm going to build a offroad trailer so I can put the awning on it. you know what put me in for the walls as well.

This isn't the real Rhino Rack item that is offered. Does anybody know if you can still mount these and use their brackets to attach to the roof rack systems? It looks like their product but is different in some ways. Has anybody had experience with this item? I really like this concept though, with the panel wall system but am skeptical it not being the real brand. Any thoughts on this??

I am skeptical as this product is like the Rhino Rack item, do you have anybody who has the awning? Do they have any cons on the item? How does it hold up in wind?? I like this product idea with the full wall panel instead of the wall(s) you have to buy from Rhino Rack for their Foxwing...any input?

Brookey, a lot of the companies out here source their products from China, so it's very typical that you'll see identical products. This manufacturer is one of the better ones in China. They use aluminum for joints instead of plastics is the main reason, and their customer service has been top notch in my dealings with them.
If I'm not mistaken, these guys manufactured awnings for ARB at one point.
