ok what kind of difference is the 2wd style over 4wd?

the 2wd frame style offers a higher supension ability in the front it is common for rock crawlers to use 2wd frames due to the longer travel provided after installing a solid axle.

if i remember right my soft rides were like 500$ for the 5 inch.

dose anyone know if could use a land cruiser front axle they seam to be easier to get in my area.

Bumpdate?

Your looking for any axle that is close to the width of your current IFS and has the differential on the passenger side.

Things to think about are where the steering arms need to be to clear the frame and leafsprings, moving spring perches, getting an axles that will allow you to run the same ratio as your rear axle, keeping it 6 lug.. etc.

There is a Dana 44 that popular for this, close to same WMS and is a 6 lug pass drop axle. Came in wagoneers..

I thought the wagoneers were a driver side drop 5 lug? I was looking for a d44 from a waggy for my buddies scout he was working on and they were driver drop 5 lug. Did they switch at some point?

I ended up just takeibg the tubing a boxing in the bad part to make it threw winter ill post pictures when I get home.
