Frame Rust Pass Rear!

frame rust
toyota wont do anything.they wont admit that they have the same problems as the tacos. my sons 2000 has major frame rust. from the passengers side front tire all the way to the rear tire. three out of the four sides of frame are rusted out. i took it to a frame shop and they said its unsafe and should be taken off the road. the people at toyota are fools they wont do anything until somebody gets killed. everybody that has one of these with this problem needs to call the nhtsb and file a complaint thats going to be the only way toyota is going to do anything.nhtsb number is 1-888-327-4236

The best thing I have used so far is Fluid Film. You apply it once a year to the inside and out of the frame. It takes minimal prep, just remove loose paint and rust. You can buy it from the distributor Kellsportproducts.com. An undercoat package is about 80 bucks and includes 1 gallon, 1- 11.5oz spray can, a spray gun with 2- 1qt bottles, a small brush and a 2 ft spray hose for the can. Shipping is free.
