Frame Sliders/Running Boards

Anyone have a good suggestion for frame sliders that can double as running boards. Kids have a difficult time getting in as it is without them(3” lift). Going to 285’s so need to get some kind of step on there. Stock running boards were removed.

My wife was looking at those and it very well may be what we get. I have not done much off roading with it. I did do some rock climbing a while back though and I would have destroyed the stock running boards if I left them on. Thought maybe some sliders might be dual function. If not those nerf bars do look nice. We can just get those.

RCI sliders make for great steps plus offer all the protection you could ever need.

Or you could search for some factory running boards on the forum or Craigslist for free/cheap

I’ll check out the Sliders.

We have the factory ones still but I’m not planning on putting those back on.

Another recommendation for RCI sliders. I got the top plates on them so my wife can use them as a step to get in. Also the top plates protect the sides of my 4Runner from splash up.

i have 4x innovations sliders. They are incredibly over built and wide enough to stand on while wearing ski boots. Highly recommend them. They are bolt on with a mounting bracket that completely. Surrounds the frame. Amazing amount of engineering went into these.
