Free 5th Gen TRD Pro Skid Plate (damaged) - $0 San Clemente, CA

I damaged my front skid plate pretty badly and swapped it out with a RCI. It was still bolted on when I took it off but it's got a pretty bad dent on it so if you just want a trophy or if you don't mind the look and want to try to bolt it on, it's free. Located in San Clemente, CA

Just curious... what happened?

How do you feel with its performance? Asking since I have the same skid - just wondering what your thoughts were on it now that you've actually used it for it's purpose.

I was having some fun in a field and slammed down hard on a boulder covered by sand and shrubs. The only damage was to my skid and cam tab gussets were bent back so I had to have a shop bend them back to fix the alignment but overall I was really happy with the performance! It definitely did its job.

When I looked for a replacement the TRD was about the same price as RCI so I decided to go with aftermarket since I just like the look better
