Free 97 Alternator (needs rebuild)

My alternator went bad, and I already replaced it.

Full disclosure: I had never torn one apart so I took this one apart. The brushes looked okay, the windings seemed good (although dirty from a valve cover leak). I didn't check the diodes, or voltage regulator. When I put it back together it turns with more resistance.

I've had the 4Runner for 60k miles and it's currently at 240k and the alternator looks original. If you'd like to rebuild it as a spare all it will cost is one flat rate box to your house.
