Guys, sorry for not posting this earlier, but Valvoline has been running an offer where you get a $20 rebate on a 5.1qt jug or five 1qt bottles of their new Next Gen Oil. Typically the oil is on sale for $20, and as such, Free.

If you buy at Advance Auto Parts you get a $20 Amex card in about 6 weeks. This card can then be used anywhere. If you buy at Autozone though you get a $20 store card that can only be used at Autozone. Each month the rebate offer is a different number so you can keep doing this every month. Also, if you buy at Autozone, be sure to use the store card to purchase the next months oil offer. Also the rebate gets submitted online, so no stamp to buy!

How do you actually get the store gift cards? Do they have them in the store or do you have to mail in something? I wouldn't do it if there is a mail in rebate since that never works.

It is online at AAP and mail in for the others. It takes 6 weeks and it does work if you fill out the form correctly.

That's a great picture. The first thing I thought of was the TV show extreme couponers and a stock pile of oil. I'd stock up too for free. Thanks for sharing that deal.

Yes, it's 50% recycled oil. That is why it is being given out for free, to get people to try it. After reading up on it I am not worried at all. It exceeds all API certifications. I am not brand loyal to any oil company, I use whatever is the cheapest name brand oil that meets or exceed Toyota's requirements. I hope they extend the rebate into October as I wouldn't mind getting a few more offers.
