free wheeling hubs

I have a question. My 95 SR5 has A.D.D. with the system acting up. Can I put a free wheel hub (AISIN) and not worry about the actuator?

You can put manual hubs on it but you do have to do something else to the actuator, I am not sure what it is though. You should be able to pick up a set of stock hubs (used) for about $50.00. Make sure they are for an '86 or newer, the older ones from the solid axles don't fit.
Go to wabfab.org . he should be able to set you up with everything you would need. Also get one of his 54mm sockets. They are the best price you will find and you need to have one to change hubs. While you have the front hubs apart make sure you lube the spindles, if they aren't making noise in the cold yet.... they will.
