Freeze Plug Location

Trying to deal with my pink milkshake problem. Trying to take off the thermostat right now.

The FSM files that I have are marked very ambiguously. Can someone tell me where the freeze plug in the rear of the engine is?

Do you access it from under the vehicle or under the hood?

The thermo is fine to drain the driver's side of the block. I've never had to pull it, but I remember reading that there is another one on the pass. side somewhere. I think you can get to it through the fender, but I'm not sure.

There are rear plugs also, but you have to drop the tranny to get to those I believe so I wouldn't worry about them. The thermo and the pass. side will be enough. Even if you can't get to the pass. one, the thermo will get most of it out, it you might just have to do an extra flush of the cooling system.

Here is a link to a pic of the pass side drain plug. You do not remove the plug just loosen it until the coolant starts flowing. I use a bunch of extensions on a ratchet to get to the plug easily.
