Fridge / Freezer location ideas

Where is everybody installing your Fridge/Freezer? Looking for different ways to tie down an Fridge/Freezer other than the usual sliding tray. I'm looking into getting an ARB ZERO 73QT. Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Also, was thinking it would be nice to access it from the drivers seat for long drives.

TIA

To safely access that size fridge while driving, I would think you would need to remove the seat bottoms and construct some kind of platform to span the floor hump. Maybe tie it down to the seat brackets in the floor?
Max (Mtn4RNR) over at The Explore4R 4Runner Platform System — Explore4R made a wood platform made for his 4runner that he installed in the rear passenger space. Not sure whether it was accessible by the driver or not.

I built a platform in the rear and keep mine behind the passenger seat and it works out great. Here’s a video I made that may also be useful for you as to some other things to consider. Also if you haven’t bought a fridge already consider ICECO. They have super reliable SECOP compressor(formally known as DanFoss) with a 5yr warranty. I have two of them and love them. Both stay on full time as I travel full time. If you choose to go that route use promo code “SirWilliamAdams” on their website icecofreezer.com
