I'm hoping someone could help me out. I bought a master switch from the switch doctor on ebay for my '87 4Runner. I plugged it in and my truck tried to start and then stopped. I saw a little smoke coming from the left side drivers side. I took the switch off and compared it to my original and it was wired wrong. I thought I blew a fuse on my drivers side but they all look good. Truck worked good before. The check engine light doesn't come on at all now. Any relays I or fuses I'm missing? Anyone have any experience like this?
