Front Bump Stop Clearance

Just curious. How much clearance should the be between the bump stop and suspension on a factory 2007 Runner? I was told that, as long as the socks were not leaking, they were fine. But,I only have about a half inch or a little more between the go stop and the suspension. I would think that would he a little more. Also, the lower control arm seems to sit at an odd angle. I'm thinking new front shocks and maybe springs are needed? I've attached some pics. Hopefully, they make the question a little more clear. Thanks for any input!

Your springs might be a little tired. Hard to tell with these picture, though.

One thing is for sure, you do have a busted CV boot.
