front bumper

will a 2000 limited bumper fit my 98 base? got in a fender bender....
just wanted to make sure it would have all the same holes for the screws

Searching would give you the answer but if memory serves me correct I believe you need to modify the bracket some to fit the 2000 bumper on 98.

Now the 98 bumper will fit the 2000 with no modification at all.

I thought the 99-02's had a larger sub-frame under the front bumper.

After a little searching the 99-02 does have a bigger sub frame.
The 99-02 bumper should fit 98 with little to no modificaiton I believe but 98 won't fit 99-02, I don't think at least.
