Front diff. drop

Hi all. I have an 03 SR5 V6 4x4. Is it recommended to do the 1" front diff. drop with the 3 inch spacer lift? Also, what would be the biggest differences in the type of material Daystar uses and the aluminum spacers from Cornfed (as far as ride and handling)?

Hope to be more involved in futures posts. There have been so many times I wanted to chime in. Guess I've been too lazy to go through the grueling 2 min. registration process.

Get a basic lift and don't bother with the diff drop as it's not needed.

spacers will make your ride more stiff naturally but some have said that they did not feel any difference in the feel of the ride.

if you can invest in some OME coil/shocks that'll be the way to go. they're around 700 all around so look into that option if you have the budget.

good luck

Thanks for the advice. I had contemplated the OME coils/shocks but it would be hard for me to justify given the amount of time I spend off-road. However, for a few hundred extra dollars I could end up with a much better setup for when I do get to venture out. Decisions Decisions!!

OME's are the way to go regardless of whether or not you offroad at all. They're a much better product than spacers and the ride will not change :)

Do remember that the OME's come w/ shock and coil whereas the spacers are just spacers using stock components.

OME's are the better bang for the buck.

Good luck
