front end allignment

I recently had our 05' Sport 4x4 alligned at the dealer. When they were done, the service writer told me the camber bolts were frozen by rust and the bolts and possibly the A arms and ball joints would need to be replaced to the tune of 1500.00 the next time the truck was alligned. The tech was able to get the camber w/ in specs, but just barely. I looked, but didn't see any bolts that looked like they were for adjustments.
Does anyone know where the camber adjustment bolts are?

How many miles on it, where do you live?

Go somewhere else and get a rotation and alignment. 2 days prior start spraying the bolts w/PB Blaster or other penetrant. Tell them you want a good alignment and know the truck is getting older so you sprayed to make their job easier. Don't tell them a thing about what the dealer told you. It sounds like the dealer was short on work and commission money for the month.:50cal::cursin:

Unfortunately, no he isn't. This very same thing happend to MD4Runner014. It's a real suck ass situation to be in.

I have seen this condition on many toyotas before. Although 1500 seems a little high. Maybe if they were replacing both lower a-arms, all 4 cam bolts, alignment, labor, misc. shop supplies. I've never priced all that out but I wouldn't think it would be that much. The camber/caster adusting bolts are located where the lower a-arm bolts to the frame. Keep soaking those bolts in penetrating oil and just maybe you can avoid that cost. If you go through with the repair see if they can put the cam bolts back together with some waterproof grease.
