Front End Body Parts Question

I'm replacing PO's front end damage and got the valences under the headlights
and it seems I'm missing something. What little bracket or clip goes on here to hold these in ?(see pictures) The other side has a hole for a screw but this side seems to butt up against the fender with nothing to secure it.
Another item is the frame cross brace that runs along the bottom of the AC condenser. Mine was mangled and pushed up against the condenser so I cut it out and was going to replace it with some angle iron but wanted to know what the 5 nut inserts are for along the bottom of it. Whatever those nuts are for I am missing also.

Yup, that piece is missing on your fender... luckily it is sold as a service part, it's a glue-on, headlamp filler panel clip, I have the PN somewhere as I need one too!

The nuts in the other pic are where the factory lower engine cover, some refer to it as a skid plate, bolt to from underneath. The skid only uses 3 bolts at the front; one nut is for the ground strap that attaches to the front core support (where the hood latch bolts to) and the 5th nut is unused.
Based on the condition/angle of that piece in your pic, it appears to need some TLC (or replacement) before a factory skid will bolt up

If/when you get the front engine cover/skid mount crossmember straightened, I have the stock skids in good shape if you want them for a reasonable amount of $$$...

When straight, the crossmember looks like this:

Metal, just much thinner than any of the aftermarket offerings. The two panels together cover back to behind the steering rack. Works well for road debris, brush, etc. but would dent quickly with any action over rocks.

IMO having the bottom engine cover installed is imperative with our plastic radiator. Without the factory "skid" or better, the bottom radiator tank is completely exposed and vulnerable to road debris/damage.

I'm embarrassed to say I actually paid what the receipt shows from the Valencia stealership. I was already there and they was in stock, and I got a grommet for the hood kickstand thingy. It was a bargain at $4.50 !

I had to run down to Sun Valley to pick up some food for a dog rescue and stumbled across a Toyota wrecking place on Tuxford, called them while I was at the stop sign, they had the 2 skids already pulled from a vehicle and wanted $80, said all I have is $60....done ! In and out in 2 minutes.

You guys are right, they are good for road debris only, but needed.
