Front end clunk/rattle

Hey guys, my 11 trail has been rattling in the front lately under the floorboards. It happens on washboard surfaces at lower speeds - doesnt happen at higher speeds. It almost sounds/feels like the skid plate is loose, but it is not. Has anyone dealt with this? I’ve searched but haven’t found much related to 5th gens...

Check the rubber wheel well splash guards, it is pretty common for them to make terrible noises, particularly on older trucks. Either throw some rubber grommets on the push-pins or tape them, see if it goes away.
