front end clunk

Been searching the forums and cant find any answer to my dilemma. Whenever I go off-road a solid clunking comes from the front end. I have checked everything I can think of and everything seems very tight. Within the last 1000 miles I have replaced the steering rack and sway arm and link bushings, lower ball joints and outer tie rods. They are all toqued correctly as of yesterday. Off-roading today the clunking noise is still there! Anyone have any ideas of what else the noise could be??

How do your lower control arm bushings look?

I have a bad sway bar link that makes a bad clunk whenever I go over a tall speed bump. Check those too.

not sure on the lower control arms but I replaced sway bar end link bushing two days ago

could also be the shock mounts. I just did the struts on GF Honda and there was a real bad clunk on speed bumps. The top hat and bushings were worn and allowing play. Strut was also bent a little. Only thing I can say is take a good visual of everything, up to removing wheel and shock. Run the suspension through its range of motion and see if you can hear or see anything.

About a month ago I installed new struts (tundra coils and adjustable billies) and nothing looked too worn on the top hats. I have been thinking of adjusting the billies up a notch or two so I might just replace the top hats at that time just in case.
