Hey guys just wondering if anyone else is having/had this issue?

My new 4runner is making some weird noise when going over bumps and it sounds exactly like coins/change hitting each-other when hitting bumps.....wondering if it could be something with the suspension or something?? anyone have any help or info appreciated

Thanks guys

Well, you didn't really provide us much information unfortunately.

Hey yeah sorry its a 2015 Limited Model no Mods done yet..

Wondering if it could be something like skid plates loose from an oil change or something....not sure....

I just had new front brakes and calipers on both front wheels and now get that same sound like loose coins. I have a 4th generation though.

Check the C-clip on your upper ball joints.

There's a thread around here somewhere where several members experienced this, and "spare change" and "coins" were used to describe the sound

check this out:

and this:

I hope this helps,

Looks like it is the C clips near the suspension on the ball joints!!!! but can there be anything done to fix this since they just sit loose....probably not much! Anyone know or have input
Thanks.
