Front Extended Bump Stops

So I have a 3" lift in front for my '03 with no sway bars and HD coils. I've noticed that my front tires (33") are rubbing the wheel wells when the front suspension is at full articulation. I found these extended bump stops for $55. Anyone used these or have experience with them? For the record, I don't jump my 4R, it's mainly trails and rocks.
Thanks!

I have them, t-man , and LTDSC to name a few.

IMO, a body lift would serve you better because you could still retain all your up-travel for slow crawling rocks. Those extended bump stops will limit your travel (a little) when crawling even though they are softer than stock.

But they do help a lot with body roll when on-road.

I would say they are better for high-speed stuff where you would actually use all of their cushion ability.

Ya I don't even notice mine unless I'm bombing down a really rough trail. I haven't really notice them limit travel, just cushion the harshness of bottoming out.

this. They dont limit my travel any as they squish the same as stock. Its just night and day difference with the impact feel. Think of it more of a progressive spring than a bumpstop.

Hell i even added them to the rear. :guitar3:

Slow speed flexing they definitely limit it though, my brother can't stuff his 33's as much with them installed on his FJ. I'd say they'll work for your needs OP.

You could probably add a threaded nut to the backside of the stock bump stops to space it down further. No really benefit over the Wheeler's setup other than cost.

I also have them and they are great for reducing the harsh bottom out. It also helps keep my 33's away from the fender at least until I can get a body lift on.

im running them and they do not limit travel from what i can tell. i have not been on the trails yet with them on but i have flexed once and it looks to act the same. i do like how it handles. you could always get the bump stop spacer

My apologies for this newb question but is a lift required to accommodate these bump stops? Upon cursory glance, it doesn't look like my stocker has enough space to accommodate these longer units. I know, I know, just get a lift and that'll solve it!

They'll fit but they may limit your up travel a little. Basically all they do is soften the blow before you bottom out the suspension. They do a surprisingly good job of it to.

im running about a 2 inch lift and i touch them a little bit so without lift you will be sitting on them like crazy the whole time

yes they would fit stock but it would not be a great idea i think. to be able to get them on you would have to lift the front end off the ground
