Does anyone have pictures/diagrams to show me (or tell me) all the bolt locations to remove the front fender?

I saw on YT someone did a "stealth snorkel";
they ran PVC pipe from the airbox, along the fender, and into the windshield cowl and when the fender is put back on, the snorkel gets hidden under it.
I've been wanting to get my air inlet higher, but I don't want to cut out my fender for an ARB snorkel and I found this pic and it was love at first sight...I'll take tons of pics of the process!

okay so scratch that idea...
the picture I saw was from a 2nd gen.
Once I got my fender off I saw there was really no way to do it without compromising structural integrity:

You're at the point of no return, do put an ARB-Safari Snorkel on it. People look at your truck that much more....:biggrin2:

lol ya dude ill second vote the ARB snorkel... thats one of the things on my list but i no some of the ppl dont like that look and well u can always do the internal snorkel and save money. I heard though but am not sure if it is somewat loud or not but im sure ull exhaust would drain out the sound.

and what do you have to do to the airbox to seal it from water??

They usually run about $350+ depending where u order it from and well u dont have to do anything to the airbox itself though i think if u have the deckplate mod it can create some problems. If u have a 98 or newer 4runner ur gonna have to buy the tacoma adapter to make it work also. Not sure on the cost of this piece but shouldnt be too much more though it is a little tough to find from wat ive read on here and YT.
I payed about $450CAD for mine. Well first, take out your air box and check it for any drain holes at the bottom etc etc. If you see any, they need to be sealed up. You can't do too much to seal the air filter access lid unless you want to perma seal the air filter in there. The instructions are well written and I recommend using Toyota FIPG to seal the Tacoma pipe to the airbox elbow.

Please post if you have pics how to connect Tacoma pipe to the airbox elbow. I've been wanting to installed and reading threads about snorkel.

I would try but why push up the bid when i know I dont have as deep of pockets as LINY... Ill hold off and concede to him. Im not ready for a snorkel anyways...

Yeah, I understand that...
I had one til it cost me 1k to fix the "coilover install mistake" now Im too close to the limit!

lol ya dude i want a snorkel but i have very shallow pockets bc im still in college. Im so jealous of all u guys with ARB/TJM bumpers and snorkels...

being in college and investing in things is a pain! i always pass up on deals b/c i always need to save the $$ for tuition and gas. HUGE pain. especially when ur money goes to nikes and ur 4runner...
Actually, if you do a search. You'll find a write up someone here did on a Safari Snorkel install, you'll see on the instructions there's a parts diagram. There's a pipe labeled "Std", that's the pipe you need. That pipe is labeled because it's for a Tacoma in the first place and they don't know it's going on a Runner.
