Front hitch?

Does anyone know of a bolt on front receiver hitch? I've seen mods with front grills being cut etc, but just curious about direct fit.

It goes below the bumper, bolting to the two stock tie-down points:

check these out

hi i found these two front hitches on etrailer.com after not finding anything for a 02 4runner. i searched 02 tacoma and found this reference. both say they fit 96-02 4runner. I have not ordered yet but am going to order the Curt one since i like the look of the square tube better than the round. I intend to use it for a bike rack. I will post after it is installed.

Fantastic! Please let me know if this works on your 02. I’m stoked. We have this 200 foot long, narrow side road next to our house. We store our pop up camper in the back yard there. Anyway, yesterday I had to back that sucker up all the way down that stupid road. I really missed my F250 and it’s front hitch. Looking foward to seeing how this pans out.
 
Just talked with a guy at eTrailer. He said that they have NO front mounted hitches for an 02 T4R. I'm curious to know if this Curt C13087 will bolt on up front.
 
The 4Runners ('99-'02, at least) have an extra impact bar up front that might interfere with a Tacoma design, but if it just uses the tow points, those will line up just fine - but you probably will have to do at least some modifications to your truck.

I've got a former student, who's now a welder, looking into fabbing something for me. I told him that he could use mine as a template and make more if he wants to sell them. Might be a little market for them?

I called Warn and Reese and none of them has ever made a front hitch for an 02
 
The WARN 33025 fits my 2001 4runner sr5 with a little grinding to the ears that bolt to the side of the chassis. No one had for the 2001 so I took a chance and it worked out well. Hides nice just under the bumper. Very little body modification.

Good news, I took a chance and ordered one as well, just got home and its at my door. I'll try and play around with it later, I just happen to have my 2000 parts truck is in my shop with the bumper off already....
 
If it's not too inconvenient can you please post a pic or two? If it's a hassle, don't worry about it. Did you have to remove the front bumper during installation?
 
Anyone have any further luck on a bolt-on front hitch? Not too interested in cutting up my grill.

Anyone have a part number for the Warn front hitch that can be trimmed? If I call etrailer or Warn they'll tell me what I'm ordering wont fit my 02, so a confirmed part number from someone who has trimmed it to fit would be super helpful.
