front leveling kit

how many of you have just done a front end leveling kit on a 4x4 4runner? I was thinking of doing the daystar 2.5/1.5 then had a thought of just doing the front only.

if u do the front only, IMO, 2.5 will be too much, 1.5 to 2 at most will still keep a rake & the running boards should look fairly level instead of running up hill. heres mine, it will give u some idea but not everybody gets the same results depending on things like how much the springs have sagged, etc. i did a 2in. front (adj. COs) & only used 5100s out back with airlft1000 bags.

I did a topout spacer from toytec on my old 4runner and put 255/75/17 BFG mud terrains on it I got about 1 3/4 out of the topout spacer

Check the link in my sig for my lift. I've got FJ springs and a 1/2" spacer in the front for 1.5" of lift, leveled it out nicely. The FJ setup is highly recommended.

I did a 2" recently and its just about right. Do a search for my threads and there's a pic. 1.5 or 2.5 wouldnt look right imho

Did you put any lift on the rear, or just the front? Looks great! What do front spacer kits generally cost installed?

I had just the topout spacer from toytec up front the spacer runs about 60 and about 200 to 250 to install with alignment. I ran this setup for awhile never had any problems the people who own it now like it to. I recommend this since it doesn't preload the spring and still rides like it did from the factory

I believe the OP meant the daystar kit that does the front 2.5 and the rear 1.5. which would also look good and still give it a slight rake.
