Front lift, spacer, full lift?

Trying to decide what would look better on my 2005 Limited v8 4wd. Just a front lift to even it out with the back, to lift the entire thing, to just get a spacer for the front, or to lift the front and the back but to even them out in the process?? I'm not looking for anything to obnoxious just a good looking stance. Help me out! Thanks

Go big or go home! do a 3/2 suspension lift.
Edit: that's 3" in the fornt and 2" in the back and that should level it up some.

Man, I'd love to do a lift on mine. It just looks so weak when a Jeep rolls up next to me. LOL! I have large tires on her now, but she needs something more. I just gotta get the $$$ for it first.

suspension lift, if you do a spacer lift you'll replace it with a suspension lift within a year anyway

I was contemplating the same thing on my 2003 Limited V8

My conclusion was this... If I needed to replace my tires, I'd do a Suspension lift and go about 3'' and 2'' to level it out (Probably the Bilstein 5100's)... I would do 32' tires and be done with it.

Now my current tires have about 80%-85% tread so I'm going to go with the 1' lift to level out the front and wait a couple of years until it's time to upgrade the tires.

If you don't want to wait that long and have good tires, sell the old tires and upgrade. I personally hate the look of excessive wheel gap or a big lift with stock tires... Makes the tires look so small.. Anyways, that's my .02 cents

I was in the same boat with my 05 sport. xreas was worn out, but wasn't failing. My tires were halfway worn, but hated how they were wearing so discount tire offered to buy them back at a great price. Found a great rebate on a set of new duratracs on top of that so I decided to go with a 3" toytec lift and took out the xreas. I'm so glad I went this route. I couldn't be happier with it.

I've had my 4Runner about 7 months. Put on the front leveling spacers on in the first few weeks. To be honest I do wish I would have done a full lift but money didn't allow at the time. I don't regret it and I feel that the look is so much better over stock and I believe the extra clearance has helped in the small amount of off-roading I've done. But if your budget allows I would definitely recommend a full lift so you don't have to do it more than once.

What are the options to go higher if I have already put Bilsteins on all around to level it? I would like to go about one inch higher. I am reading that spacers are not the way to go, so what kind of suspension lift after Bilsteins?

I would suggest looking at the Fox adjustable w/Resi or King adjustable w/Resi Coilovers this way you dont out grow them. Going taller isn't always the answer. I suggest going with the lowest lift to clear the tires you want and to refine your trail driving technique. Find some local old timer trail guys (with smartly lifted trucks) to expand/refine your technique. As good as we might be, there is always something to learn.

This is exactly what I did - do it right the first time and save yourself some money.

I agree! You'll find that you're just going to band-aid your want and you'll end up putting the full thing on later. I did the full 3" lift the first time around and I'm actually wishing, though I know it's not much of an option with this truck, to go higher and bigger.

Another good option is the toytec boss kit. I've really been pleased with mine running 285/70r17 A/Ts.
