Front Mud Flaps

I have finally been able to find the front mud flaps that work when you take off the running boards. The dealership at my house could not get me the correct ones, then after looking at J.A.'s site and a little help from him, I purchased the correct ones. For those of you who think my truck would look better w/o the trim, you are correct. I took it off today to clean under it but it is so scratched under the trim so I will need to get a paint job before I take them off for good.

Yeah the black trim does look nice, but with the trim off the tires stick out pretty far from the sides. They stick out about 1/4 an inch with the trim on lol. I need to turn my tires around, I am tired of looking at the white lettering.

i think mine looked REALLY good without the trim, but mine was all scratched up too...so i couldnt leave them off :(

if you leave them off...

mine never came with the black SR5 trim-if you decide you don't want yours I could be a potential buyer out here in CO.

Mud Flaps

Can you please tell me where you were able to find the front mud flaps? I've read your post and all it states is J.A.s. Do you have a phone number or website.

Thanks -

These only work with the skinny black pre '00 SR5 flares. All Limiteds had the running boards standard and didn't have factory front flaps available.

So where do I find the right mud flaps for my 02 sport?

That's a good question.

My guess is you'll have to search the aftermarket for a set that works well with the wider flares since Toyota only made mudflaps for those specific flares on the 3rd gens.

Are they the correct fitment? Do they line up perfect? It looks like greyghost's are flawless, everything flows and no gaps. If you look at the original thread I posted,

Kabel - says they are not a perfect fit!

Thoughts?

Just to clarify things - those mudguards fit perfectly on my 4Runner, but they do not match up at all with my existing fender flares once I removed my running boards.

The mudguards I received do not resemble Evan's mudguards at all.
