Front of seat too low

I have an 08 Urban runner with the alcantara covered seats and when raise the seat up past half way the front of the seat stops rising. So, the higher you raise the seat the more it slopes down in the front.

I was going to make spacers for the front mounting bolts of the seat to tilt the seat back more but, after looking at the way the mounts are the front bolts/mounts are on a forward angle...so, you can't just add a spacer because then it would no longer line up.

Has anyone ever tried to fix this issue or know of another way to fix the tilting forward seat problem?

Yep I've seen washers and I've seen pennies.

How about if the seat (powered, all the way down) is too high and your head brushes the ceiling..?[emoji17]

i fixed that issue

Well, i was able to get 5 washers under the front mounts to give 3/8" of lift and the seat angle is much better. Due to the mounting design i couldn't go any higher than that without notching the rear bolt holes to allow the whole seat to go further forward. I'll try it at this height for a while and see if it feels like it is enough...i can always raise it more later.

Damn!! I have the opposite problem. Seat too high...I'm 6'1 and would like a little more headroom.

You can get longer bolts for the front with washers & you guys should check how [MENTION=87687]LTDSC[/MENTION] fixed his brackets he's 6'8" right Sam ?

Correct. I cut and flattened the brackets dropping me roughly 3"
