Front parking brake cable 864R

Anyone ever fabricated one of these or know where to get one? I made one but the piece that fits into the hole in the bottom of the e- brake handle keeps letting go. I see plenty on line but they are all rear cables. Looking for advice on how to make the little retainer- I used copper refrigeration pipe, drilled for the cable, then peened. Then I tried JB Weld. Then I tried an aluminum bushing, tapped for a set screw. It just lets go on the second pull.
Any one got a spare they want to let go?

I called my local dealer and ordered it, picked it up in a day or two. I think it was around $100 Canadian.
