Hey guys!
I manufacture heavy duty recovery points for 4th gen/GX470 that work with factory bumpers. Its an inexpensive option for heavy duty, rated recovery points without having to shell out $1000+ on a full bumper. I had a lot of questions at Lone Star Toyota Jamboree and on various facebook groups about making a recovery point for 5th gens/GX460. So i've done that.
These will fit with a factory bumper and an ARB bull bar, possibly others, those are just the two I am sure about. They'll be laser cut from 1/2" steel plate, and rated by ATSM-E4 standards (don't have that done yet, but its coming). My minimum rating will be 10k lbs per point, i'll have to do a redesign if for some reason it doesn't get there. I'm confident it won't be an issue based on simulations.
I just got my first two prototypes back to verify all my measurements and fitment, as well as get load testing started. So with all that said, i'm thinking pricing will be around the $150 mark for a pair of powder coated recovery points with hardware.
I'm trying to gauge interest and see if a group buy would be worth organizing on these.
**see page 7 for updated revision and test fit 5th gen points. These will not be powdercoated, had some issues with damaged powder in transit so we are no longer offering this**
***THESE ARE READY AND AVAILABLE FOR SALE, SEE PAGE 9 FOR UPDATE***
