Nice set up Kris. Kind of what I want for my 03 4R.
For the 120 series, I see 2 holes for the bolts on the external side of the frame of my 4R but only one in the internal.
Did you had to drill holes in the internal side to insert the bolts and attach nuts?
Can you please give more details of that first plate that protects the radiators?

Easiest install you will ever do.
These bolt on front recovery points are a 100% bolt on.
No cutting. No Drilling. No welding.
Designed to allow a bow shackle, soft shackle, and even winch hooks to pass through the main eyelet.
Bolting directly to the frame in 4 locations, these recovery points are a much safer option for rigging than the factory tie down loop, which should never be used for towing or recovery of a stuck vehicle.
Allows the factory sway bar to still be used.
A single mount bolt with this recovery point has the sheer strength of just over 20,000 lbs. This recovery point is secured by 4 bolts in total. AKA, super strong and rated for more than most recovery straps and ropes.
Side braces are MIG welded to the main body and the whole assembly is painted safely red for a long lasting and easily identifiable recovery point.
All necessary Grade 8.8 Hardware is included with each set of recovery points.

I may have to weld front rebar to front frame adapter, just in case 4 studs that hold rebar to frame let go. Pretty happy with how it looks though

Apex Overland offer great recovery point, but it's tucked too high for my taste, ARB offer a rated recovery point of 8000KG and it's car specific with Left Or Right side, sold per point, too expensive, I like the Treaty Oak recovery point, it comes with class 10.9 hardware.

It appears that Treaty Oaks doesn't offer recovery points for 4th Gens, so doesn't do us in the 4th Gen forum section any good, maybe post this in the 5th Gen forum since they do make them for the 5th Gens.

Thank you! I welded brackets to r-bar which is metal so it was easy. Took bumper off and unbolted the r-bar and welded it at the bench.

If you DM Apex on Instagram or email them Jill will reply immediately. I have these recovery points on my 4th gen and the install was very easy. I haven't used them yet from a recovery standpoint, but it's nice to know and have as backup.

Thanks for the suggestions here, those tie down points look like they could’ve strong enough, but not worth the risk.

A lot of these say don’t use soft shackles, why?isn’t this the future?
I would guess it's because the inside holes aren't chamfered, and instead are hard 90 degree angles, which means they might tear up soft shackles. I'm planning to chamfer the ones I have.
