Front right turn signal

So my front right turn signal bulb keeps popping out if I hit bumps at a certain speed/angle. Very annoying to fish that thing out and reconnect it. It fits, and stays in but at times it pops out. Any ideas on how to make it stick in there? It gets quite hot so I would need something that can handle high temperatures. Its hard to tape it down with anything because of how the bulb fits into the socket.

Mine does it too. There is a poor contact between socket and a bulb. Could be a crappy aftermarket bulb as well.

I'm thinking that you haven't seated the bulb all the way. It will feel like you're putting too much pressure but you have to push it in until there's a click. I've had that issue before so I know what you're talking about.

I'm thinking that you haven't seated the bulb all the way. It will feel like you're putting too much pressure but you have to push it in until there's a click. I've had that issue before so I know what you're talking about.

I agree with what been stated, cheap bulb or mostly likely not inserted all the way.

OR it could be that you have a left turn signal bulb installed in the right turn signal socket!!! :noidea: :loco: :jk: :rofl:

Maybe he needs to check for blinker fluid to make sure it's filled!


On a serious note though: before you spend money, ensure the bulb is connected by PUSHING IT IN with all of your strength. I struggled keeping my left DRL connected on my '04 and realized the bulb was not plugged correctly. You know you don't want to break something by applying too much pressure to it? Well ignore your instincts and apply as much pressure as you can. Chances are your bulb is loose

Oh you guys are so bad. Just came in from spraying Contact Cleaner on the connectors for right side.
