Front Right wheel ticket on right turns

I have a 2006 V8 Sport edition AWD.

After a trip wheeling I started hearing a ticking noise while making right turns. About a 1000 miles later and the ticking/knock is getting worse and now is starting to barely tick on left turns.

I was thinking either CV joint or Wheel Bearing. Got any ideas on how I can find out for sure the source of the ticking and possible $$$?

I plan on doing the work myself, I'm fairly handy with a wrench I just dont know what part I should buy...

thats exactly the right track to go down
cv's and or wheel bearings....
jack up truck and hands at 12 + 6 try rocking tire any play here is an indication of a bad wheel bearing.....
as for the cv's thats a bit tougher.....
try turning at close to full lock...listen for noise....
