Front Seat Bolt Covers

Hello would anyone know if the 96 4Runner came stock with the front seat bolt covers? Pretty sure that the 97-2002 did.

Also would the 97-2002 front seat bolt covers work for a 96?

Purchased some but can’t put them on for the life of me on my 96.

For those of you that don’t know it’s the plastic covers that cover the bolts that hold the front seat down.

Nope, 1996 doesn't have the bolt covers for the front facing brackets. The rears do, and those covers are smaller than 1998+.

You can't install those covers on the front brackets because thet didn't stamp the mounting tabs into the bracket for 1996.

Here I thought the entire time that the previous owner had lost them and that’s why they were not there.

Well, I’ll have to put the ones I purchased on the classifieds.

My '97 SR5 had the covers for the front seat bolts. I threw them away.
