Front seat sleeping cot for kids

Figure someone might find this useful, pretty simple solution. Between my wife, our small dog, our daughter, and myself sleeping space inside the 4runner is pretty tight. This makes everything much more comfortable for everyone. Just a child’s cot off Amazon and a few lashing straps to the grab handles, the nice thing is the cot can be broken down and is really compact.

Just curious, how did you get a secondary grab handle on the drivers side?? I would kill for an overhead one like the passenger side and was just brainstorming literally 4 hours ago when leaving work on what it would take to add one
That ain't fair :mad2:

That was one of the first mods that I did, guess I should’ve mentioned that in my post. All you need is an oem handle (got mine from a part out) and some bolts. The threads are there behind the headliner, I think you can even feel the holes through the headliner.

And if they need a cup of water in the night all they’ve gotta do is honk the horn!
I had to sleep in the front bench seat of our family truck on a windy night in Death Valley when I was a kid. Many horn honks later (from me kicking around), I'm sure all the rest of the campers loved us...
