Front Skid Plate - Missing Hatches/Doors

What the heck!?! Looks like two missing hatches or doors. Only adventure I've been on since owning (less than 2k miles) the 4R is going through a snow pile, left by a plow, in front of my driveway!!

Thanks for the quick reply. Man, I do not remember seeing two openings when I purchased the truck.

Mine has a chicken wire "mesh" that goes over it and it's bent in from driving through deep snow. You may have gone deeper and totally bashed them out.

On my 2013 I think there is a plastic piece that goes over that large square hole in your pic. It's held on with those push in plastic pins. I can see how it could easily be ripped off by a snow bank or other obstacle.

My 2017 is like that with some wire mesh recessed toward the back of the openings.

Took mines off. Got tired of dropping that shit just to get to oil filter.

^You removed your skid plate and left it off, not replacing it with another one??????

Gonna need full aluminum skids front to back to fix this issue. At least that’s what I’d tell my wife... :naughty:
