Front sway bar end link change question

I've determined that I should replace my endlinks when I replace my swaybar bushings. Do they generally just pop out when you take the nut off the bottom ball joint or do I need something like a pickle fork or ball joint press to get them off? Thanks.

The sway bar links are held on by a top and bottom bolt (14 mm?). They often just snap off when removing. No puller needed. Now the ball joints are a different story.

I just changed mine yesterday. You take the bottom nut off, you’ll need a 17mm wrench and a 6mm Allen key to hold the stud. Then you remove the top 14mm nut and they literally fall right out. Took me a total of 10 minutes. Napa has a nice set of end links for $24 a piece.

After Market Performance Sway bar, end links etc

Has anyone replaced the front sway bar and end links with a performance set that improves stability on a 3" lifted 4th Gen 4Runner?
