front tire wobble

Hello

Another Newb here. I just bought a 98 Limited with 182000 km on 'er. Excellent shape for a 14 year old. No rust, and seems solid.

I've never had a Yota before. Just coming from a 2001 F150 Screw 4x4 and thought I'd try something different.

I'm going through the process of learning about the vehicle and have a questions.

This vehicle has the 16" rims with fairly new 265/70/16 all terrain tire. Nothing radical (yet).
It drives straight and smooth will no pull from the brakes (replaced the rotors right away - big difference) But when I go over a bump - I get a bit of a shake in the front tire. Feels like something might be loose?

Is this normal?

The newbi thread is AWESOME. THANK you THANK you THANK you THANK you

Very helpful. I'll be reading that over and over

Thank you

I was wondering about that

My mechanic said they were OK when I first had him look at it.

Just priced them out. Not too bad.

I'll probably do them when I do the 2 1/2" Day Star lift.

I'll have to get an alignment anyway.

Use Toyota OE parts only. Others usually wear our a lot faster.

+1 for OEM.

For the best price around and fedex ground shipping to boot.
ToyotaPartSales.com

The site goes down occationally, so check back later in the day. Great people to buy from and if the shipping looks high, ask them to re-check it.
