Front wheel clunk

God forbid i got a month without hearing a noise from my 4runner i dont like.

Just started, going over bumps (cant miss em on Massachusetts' roads) and i bear clunk noises. I have the XREAS suspension, no leaks as far as i can see.

Anyone know if this is a common issue, a bushing maybe?

Going to mechanic later...lets see who on here guesses correctly!

Hard to say for sure. In my various Toyota trucks I've had clunks be different things. Sway bar ends, sway bar bushings, and ball joints have all caused clunking sounds for me.

mine has a clunk...im guessing mine has to do with the linkage. need to get a few minutes to figure it out...

I would hope it isn't a wheel bearing. If it is bad enough that you can hear it when going over bumps, you are on some seriously barrowed time.

And the winner IS......

....if you said "sway bar bushings", then you are RIGHT! Getting them replaced now.

Thanks you guys!
