Frontrunner rack and a sunroof, please help

Does anyone have a full length frontrunner rack and a sunroof? Can you take a photo frpm the inside of how much the sunroof is blocked? Trying to make a quick purchase decision and finally get rid of this Gobi rack.

I’d call. They have at least two “full length” versions, one ends near the front of the sunroof glass, the other extends over the roof. They can put together a number of lengths so I’d measure what you want then call and see how close they can get it.

I went back and forth on racks for the last six months. I ultimately ordered the Frontrunner Slimline II 3/4 "Extended" version from Apex Overland last week. I didn't want to A) waste money buying a sunroof and then covering it up, or B) feel like I'm in prison if I opened it, so I bought the biggest one I could that would not obstruct the sunroof when opened.

I have the standard full length rack and it extends just past the sunroof opening. If I could make a recommendation... Get the LFD faring. Before I installed this my sunroof was pretty much unusable at any speed. the turbulence made by the rack and supplied faring was just too much to deal with. Now I can enjoy the sunroof again. It's louder than it was without the rack but still manageable. The fit isn't perfect but for the price and effect...

I have a full length Frontrunner rack and sunroof. thinking about removing some slats to have an opening, as i dont have a need for the entire rack YET. Key operative word - YET. It looks pretty easy. I'm hoping this can be done.

I would say 70% will be blocked the slabs are about 3 inches wide with about 2 inch opening in between

So were you able to just remove slats over the sunroof temporarily until you need to utilize them?

I'm contemplating the full front runner rack and want to keep my sunroof unobstructed most the time....

Not on mine. I have the full length and the front ones are part of the structure so you can't just remove them like you could ones in the center.
