Changed my rotors/pads out this past weekend while doing the lift. No seizing for me (~135k mi) but then again I'm down here in TX.
Frozen Calipers - How many others had this problem?

285K and one seized piston in front caliper
I guess it was that time...I was getting the front left car shake and thought it was my rotors even though everything looked good. I just took everything apart to find out it is a seized piston in the driver side front caliper. What's the verdict? OEM, Autozone/etc., Powerstop? I have the bigger 338mm rotors on my Sport.

So last week I decided to replace the front rotors and pads because I had some vibration when I hit the brakes at highway speeds. When I got to the drivers side I discovered I had a seized piston in my caliper. I’ve got 178K miles and these might be the original calipers. I live in Atlanta and have zero rust anywhere so I guess it seized due to age.
I tried to order the OEM remanufactured calipers but they were on ‘national back order’. So I spent the money on new OEM calipers. I installed them yesterday along with the new rotors and pads. I followed the service manual instructions for bleeding with the help of my brother. So far so good. Brakes feel solid and smooth. Dealer quoted me $450 for labor only to install the calipers which didn’t seem too bad but I’m glad I did it myself as I wanted to learn how.
