I'm going to sell my 1st gen and figured this was a good place to start. It's an '87 turbo SR5 that has a Marlin Crawler W56-B 5 speed swapped. The asking price may seem high, but this is an amazing example and I had someone offer me 10k without even driving it ( I wasn't interested in selling it at that point).
It has 111,557 miles on the vehicle. The motor has less than 10k on it. The transmission has less than 1k on it.
I purchased this from a person who had a collection of super clean, at least partially restored, older SUVs. He had a shop full of them, 4Runners, Wagoneers, Land Cruisers and so on. This one was a low miles, just over 100,000, example that he had semi restored. It had the motor and trans removed and both rebuilt. It was then painted, including undercairage and put back together. He drove it occasionally and it would up with around 110,000 miles on it when I bought it. I swapped the 5speed setup because the transfer case chain had slack in it and was rubbing inside the case, causing aluminum shavings in the fluid ( in the auto trans the t-case shares fluid with the transmission). Parts aren't really available for the auto that came with the turbo motor, so a 5 speed swap was my choice.
