FS: 1996 4x4 4Runner with ARB airlocker (Huntington Beach, CA)

For sale is my 1996 toyota 4Runner SR5 with 176,000 miles. It has an ARB rear air locker system with the compressor under the hood, alloy wheels and 33" nitto terra grapplers, donahoe coil overs in the front and springs in the rear (I believe OME but I'm not 100% sure, PO installed them) everything works flawlessly. In the last 3000 miles I had Toyota do a full transmission flush and fill, change the front diff, transfer case, and rear diff fluid to Lucas oil products, in other words, I took care of this car. Oil and filter is changed every 3000 miles with synthetic Mobil 1, new ngk spark plugs, new air filter, all new alpine speakers with a bluetooth head unit. The car runs great. It has seen trails so there are a few things here. The only reason Im selling it is because my commuting distance now is far, otherwise this is a perfect car, really bummed Im selling it. I never want to beat up the sellers about price, but yes you are asking too much. Look on Craig'sList in SoCal and you'll see trucks in the same condition for 5K, but without the lift and locker. Thing is those mods don't add much in value to a vehicle sale, if anything at all. Yes the right buyer will buy it more readily, maybe even pay a little more, but not 2K more.

I think you should be asking just under 7K, but be prepared to barter down. Forget about what you might have spent on it, just hope the right buyer comes around. Or drive it to the Pacific NW, I hear they get big money for their 3rd gens up there. SoCal has way too many, dilutes the value. Good for buyers.
