FS: 1997 4Runner 4x4 Limited for parts $700 Northville, MI

I've owned Toyota trucks and 4Runners for 30+ years, but I'm new to this forum so forgive my 1st post as a classified ad.

I have a complete 1997 4Runner 4x4 Limited for sale that I need to get out of my garage ASAP. I hit a deer with it over a year ago. I bought an identical 4Runner and swapped a few parts from the wrecked one to the new one, but it is otherwise complete.

The frame is straight and the engine runs fine. The damage is limited to the front end sheet metal. The truck has ~150k miles. The truck could easily be put back on the road, or be used for parts. The title is clean and clear. Prior to the deer hit, it was my wife's daily driver and was in good condition.

There are a few parts that have been removed and swapped to my other 4Runner, but the parts from the other truck will go with it. These include the front seats, exhaust, brakes, and a few trim items. Other than visible body parts, the radiator, and cooling fan blades are damaged.

I hate to take this truck to the junkyard, but I need it out of my garage very soon.

UPDATE: I spent the day putting the 4Runner back together, so it's now a complete truck and is ready to load on a trailer. After charging the battery, it fired right up. It still needs a front brake hard line between the knuckle and the caliper, so it can't be driven, but otherwise, it is all together.

I also put an ad on CL last night. I have gotten about 30 calls and texts since 10pm last night. CL brings out some interesting characters. One guy tried the classic Nigerian scam. He called me no less than six times today to tell me he wants the truck so his colleague can ship it to Africa. :crazy:

My wife thinks I should fix it myself and keep it, but I can't give up my Tacoma. I haul stuff all the time and need a truck bed.

The airbags did not deploy. The core support is bent and would either need to be replaced or straightened. It pushed the condenser and radiator back into the cooling fan. The blades on the fan broke off and the radiator leaked slowly. I'd guess a good body man could put the truck back together very easily.

Besides the bodywork, the front brake calipers and rotors will need to be replaced. They were good, but I swapped them onto the replacement 4Runner. The ones that are now on it had a vibration and when I tried to pull the pads, the pins refused to come out, so I gave up and grabbed the good calipers and rotors from the wrecked truck.

I have two guys supposedly coming to look at it tomorrow after work. We'll see if either actually shows up. 90% of CL buyers flake out or are scammers.

How bad is the core support bent? Can you post a picture of it?

When I get home from work today, I'd be happy to take some pics assuming it doesn't sell tonight. I have a third guy who is now really interested in it and they are all supposed to come tonight.
