Was a 2L 1989 diesel with an aftermarket Turbo that died.
About 2 years ago workshop on the Goldcoast installed a 2.8L japanese imported engine for about $4000 spent. Tricky changeover with a few custom bits in the engine bay but a clean change over. Car runs like a dream, but a bit noisy at revs as the muffler was small to suit model with Turbo.
As New Pirelli Scorpion Rubber about $1000
Model is a 2 door with plastic roof. Interior is OK. All panels have minor dings. Tailgate is operational with electric window but also has ding. Drivers side window is slipping.
Registered but not roadworthy - some problem with rear DS brake leaking.
Would be perfect for home fixup or someone looking to do a 2.4 to 2.8 conversion to their own truck. And new rubber as a bonus.
I am in Melbourne. Car parked in street out the front of my recently Ex-wifes apartment in Brisbane. Newish but flat battery.
$1000 OR NEAREST OFFER - I really want this car gone. It has been good fun but is a project I can't handle right now.
NOT THIS CAR but like this car - I don't have a pic of the actual car. Mine has silver rims. And more dings.
