nice truck man i hope you get what you need for it! if i would have seen this 4 years ago when i bought mine i prob would have considered it knowing all the $$ Ive spent on mine and im still not lifted or armored

this is the way sales go though. People low ball too much these days and IMO setting a higher price gives you room to work with to get a decent price out of it. i think its a fair strategy

Keep your price to what it's value is to you, unless you are desperate.

There are many reasons why used car values are actually lower than they are truly worth. I've heard many people lie when submiting the title info to pay less taxes on it, which in turns shows lower purchase prices on higher priced vehicles. People also sell for low prices because they need the money quickly. Plus a REALLY well kept 10yr old used car is extremely rare and should be worth much more than the average one on the market.

I recently sold my 2001 Tacoma Prerunner (Not 4wd) for $10k when KBB was $8k, and was able to find someone who was willing to pay that premium for one that was babied it's whole life.

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread, but felt you shouldn't lower your price due to a few people who haven't even seen it in person whining about it.

lol this is funny. To all the people saying "I just dont want to see someone get ripped off because the price is too high." Common, who are you to decide the fate of someone else's purchasing decision? If someone doesnt have enough sense to go and do research on a product (especially one worth thousands of dollars) and find comparable prices before making a purchase at a price that is reasonable to them, then they deserve to be hosed. How about the person with the cash, decides how to spend the cash for themself.

OP, I think your 4Runner is very nice. I am not gunna say what I think it's worth, but it's not up to me. I have owned way too many Toyotas and I have "over-payed" for a handful of them because they were really just-that-nice. I dont care what the Blue or Black or maroon or turquise book says, the value is in the eye of the beholder. I wish you the best of luck selling your T4R!
